Audio wav input..

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

What is the problem exactly? Are you trying to create your own sounds using the Sound Manager and do run into problems? Or did you upload sounds to your Wave (sounds you possible created yourself) and are you unable to find them on your Wave?

Hi Stross,

Loading a .wav file into the sample memory area of your Wave is not the same as writing a program which uses this .wav file. You need to create a program which addresses that new .wav file.

Suppose you load file "Mir i Ljubav.wav" onto your Wave using Nord Sound Manager. Now you can see Mir i Ljubav in the list of samples as shown in the Samples tab from within Nord Sound Manager. What is the number of that file? #27? #34? Now to make your life simpler, load ANY program which is sample-based. A violin, a trumpet, the grand piano, whatever. This will effectively "zero out" the filter and lfo and mod env, etc. settings so that you can hear the sample in its natural state. Now dial in sample #27 or #34 in the 2nd osc. Now you're playing Mir i Ljubav!

If you like what you hear store your new program -- and be sure to rename it to Mir i Ljubav. This is more easily done from computer keyboard using Nord Sound Manager than scrolling through character sets.

Bless,

Pablo
