Nord Lead keyboard height without feet

I have a drawer under my desk that can accommodate a keyboard up to 4" tall. I'd like a Nord Lead 2x but the specifications say it 4.1". Does the lead have rubber feet that can be safely removed? How tall would it be without the feet? Any info on this would be helpful

Thanks!

I'm not sure the feet are removable. Plus they are here to prevent some screws to ditectly touch the holding surface. Maybe the feet could be sliced a bit...?

Hi humboldt,
I estimate the feet are about 5-7 mm thick rubber. They're not meant to be removed and they're pop nailed to the metal bottom. Of course, if you really wanted to you could remove those. As Stiiiiiiiiiiiiive mentions, you'll have some screw heads on the bottom that'll come into contact with your drawer, but that probably won't worry you much
If you really wanted to, you could do that and it'll probably shave 0.1-0.2 inch (5 mm) off of the height. With some luck you might not jave to resort to this butchering.
Hopefully someone can confirm the height by measuring their 2X.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it

. I dont like the idea of removing the feet if it might damage the keyboard. I think I might just get the rack version instead...

I think the rack version is more convenient for use on a desk (it's also quite a bit cheaper, with the difference you can buy a decent MIDI controller keyboard).
