Hi all
l found a Hammond BC for a very good price.
This one still has the chorus generator inside.
As soon as the omd lady is home I willl do some A/B testing to check.them. The early Hammond organs are really sweetspunding instruments.

flmc, what is the tone cabinet for the BC? Did it require a dedicated tone cabinet like the A models (the power supply in the tone cabinet served both organ and speaker.)? Is it hooked to a Leslie? And the double-generator model was even heavier, isn't it?
Or do I have any of that right? Anyway, what's it hooked to?

Jupp. Needs external B+.
That was hammonds way of locking in the customer so no other cabinet could be used.
This organ has had the original tube amp replaced by a solid state one for that very reason. I have found an original tube preamp though. How likely is that in Sweden!
There is a leslie 130 for it. I'll check out how it sounds. Could be a receptor for a top rotor at some stage.
