uploading patch troubles

iv just made up my ffirst patch for my nord g2 using the editor. iv got everything installed on my computer, drivers ext. but when i go to upload my patch to the g2 it says that the memory is protected and wont allow the patch to be uploaded. does anyone know a way around this

Download the manual from the Nord site and search for "protect". That explains what you need to do.

I have the original manual with me and i cant find any where that has anything about protect or protection

Thanks, i got that all changed around but now my computer won't recognise my g2, iv reinstalled the drivers and still cant get it to recognise it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you
