I am new to NORD but was told I could upload wave files to be used as sounds. Eg: we have a keyboard now that we use a midi interface to get bagpipe sounds. I like the sounds and want to know how to get it on a new NORD keyboard, so I can lose the midi interface all together. THANK YOU!

You forgot to say which keyboard you have. Not all can load samples.

Which ever one I can get samples on is the one I will buy. Having said that is the process of uploading samples simmilar on the ones that do have that function? and if so….How complicated is it?

Have a look here:
http://nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?tm=So ... le_Library
These can load samples that you create (in addition, some of these also can load multilayered samples that Nord provides):
Nord Stage 2, Nord Piano 2, Nord Electro 4, Nord Electro 3 (from OS v1.16 or later) and Nord Wave (from OS v2.02 or later).
They have different sized RAM, so you need to look at the specs.
To load samples you use a program provided for free called sample editor. It is not too difficult, but they are single layer...
