How to layered tones in the Nord Piano 2?
For example layered the piano and string

If you still have the original sounds on your NP2, try the following:
  • Select program A:01:01
  • Press the On button in the Sample Synth section
You should now have a piano sound with a strings sound layered on top. Play around with the Volume, Attack and Release knobs in the Sample Synth section and try selecting different samples.

In general, you would use some sound from the Nord Sample Library (or some sound you created yourself with the Sound Editor) and layer that on top of a piano sound.
