I do not have an E3, but since it supports the sample library, I guess that you need a sample that has both sounds already layered. The sample library is 1 layer only, so the piano will never sound like the multilayer piano samples you have (unless Nord produces one). So at the moment you will need to create a single layered sample yourself that contains the piano AND strings. It might be tricky to end up with a combination that works for most needs (strings too loud or too low etc).

Mr. G is correct, and in fact, some people here have put together such programs, you can download them at
http://www.norduserforum.com/nord_sample_collection.php
But yeah, you can't vary the level of the strings on a given preset, the piano sample is basic (only one velocity layer, no string resonance, etc.), any mods will apply equally to both sounds (sustain, fx, etc.). It can be useful, but it is still a kludge, as the Electro was simply not designed for this function. For full split and layer capability from Nord, you need to get a Nord PIano 2 or Stage 2.

Two sounds on a single Electro 3, or two Electro 3's?

I found a piano/strings layer in the forum here. The same as the link that anotherscott put in his message.
I found it to be serviceable, without using a lot of memory.
There should be a few to choose from depending on what your needs are.

Thanks for your help, so, would you please tell me how to synthesize and edit the sample?

I am not too experienced with this, but you need to record samples (let's say octaves apart, depending how well the sound is preserved by repitching) of the piano, and the strings separately and mix them with a program like Audacity so you can save each wav file with both piano and strings layered per sample (or, if available, record samples from an instrument that can play both at the same time). Then use the sample manager to load, trim and loop the sounds to the right keys in your Nord. There is a tutorial in the Nord site which you should look at because this is not something you can write in few words.
If you never did this kind of thing, you might find that making usable samples is not a 5 min job if you want to get it right (because of the different envelopes and balance between the two sounds).
Alternatively you might want to try the samples available in this forum first so you have a standard to compare with in case those are not the sounds you are looking for.
