Hi folks,
Tried to make some original sounds for my band, to play Bruno Mars.
Maybe you can use it as well.
C2 = low ape sound [Ytube = 0.06 m]
E2 = high ape sound [ytube = 0.09m]
G2 = wooh sound [ytube = 0.11m]
C3 = alarm [ytube = 0.52m]
F3 = start string bass
That was all I needed. Lead synth with Korg Triton

I saw your post on this nord user forum about Bruno Mars Song Locked Out Of Heaven:
And I downloaded that attached Nord sample file. However, i don't have a Nord keyboard, so I don't know how to open that file. I also have a band, and we want to play that song.
Is there any way that you can send me a wave files that you used to create this patch?

that was fantastic..played it using these samples this past wknd. and my bandmates were freaking out....perfect !
also played the lead part on a Korg Triton Extreme with a bit of portamento.

Just like hand solo, I gave this a run out at band practice last evening. Everybody was amazed.
So the number is in for this Saturday's gig!
Just intrigued as to how you manage to get such 'clean' samples. Trade secret, or it something within the reach of mere mortals like myself?
Anyway, as everyone else who's replied, very grateful - just the job!

Thanks for a positive comments!
Anyway, there is not really a secret, I found a sort of Karaoke version of the song, download the partly available wav track and seperate my specific needs out of this wav file. That is pretty much it.
We recorded a demo with our band 'Millers Inc.' which includes partly this great song at 1:23m.

Gave 'Locked Out ....' it's first gig airing with the band last night. Went down a storm.
Thanks again for the samples, and for the skinny on how you got the sounds. Might encourage me, and others, to post more samples on the forum.

Great demo! I will be trying the Bruno one out for defo. I see from the demo you do Disco Inferno, any chance you have a program for that one? Gigging it for the first time this Friday and I'm not too happy with how it sounds at the moment.
