Is rotor 'STOP' position stored to presets on NE4?

Hello chaps,

I was playing my NE3 earlier and noticed that the 'STOP' position of the Leslie speaker rotor is not stored to presets.

I notice that the 'position' of the rotor makes quite a big difference to the Leslie sound, and sometimes I would like to be able to store this position and have it recalled when selecting a preset.

I wonder if this functionality is offered by the NE4?

Cheers,
James

Hi Cute James,

If rotary speakers had been made so that one could control the 'STOP" position of the rotor to a specific point, I suspect that Nord might have attempted (and succeeded) in accurately modeling that behavior, but that isn't how things are in the real world, hence...

Bless,

Pablo

Hi Pablo!

Ah, I thought that might be the case - thanks for clarifying.

Hello Pablo,

From the NE4D changelog:
v1.02 (2012-06-05)
Rotary angle is now stored in programs/live
Is this not the same thing, I wonder?

Cheers,
