Do you use pedals and/or leslie with your nord c1/c2/c2d ?

just curios what kind of player you are

I play lh bass and use ventilator + a simpel amp (Behringer k3000 fx), But i want to buy à 3300 leslie for home.

Plan to go to two EV 15" PA's (active) when I trade up to a C2D and just use the internal sim. I have a half-moon sw. Would like a 3300 but think it would defeat the whole concept of carrying around a 'featherweight' B3 clone.

I'm pretty sure that two EV active 15" PA speakers will weigh MORE than one 3300. And you'll need power cords and signal cables out to the PA's Why not get the sound right, and let the venue's sound guy add volume through the PA as needed?

Do not get a Leslie 3300! I have one and whenever I take it I have a great time. The problem is when I can't take it to a gig, I just feel that something is lacking!!

Good point. But I've already blown it with the pedals. The PK7a's weigh more than my C1. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait until Nord builds a featherweight Leslie 3300 clone .

Add an xover and a sub(bass combo amp will work)
Cheaper than getting two 15 inch monsters and less to carry

I have 2 sets of bass pedalboards by an outfit from the midwest called DIGI-KICK. They are much cheaper than the Rolands,hammonds,nords, etc. For home use i have the 2 octave pedalboard made by digi-kick ( formerly a Thomas set of pedals converted to midi.) these cost me 500 dollars. for gigging, i use the one octave set, which i pack into a suitcase wide enough to accomodate the pedals. This unit cost 165 dollars. Bear in mind that when you use a 2 octave set of pedals, you need a stand that can stretch out to at least 40 inches. You would also need a standard console bench to scan the lower side of the pedals. these are costly. I got the pedals thru ebay. i got the bench ( which can run as high as 800 dollars. I bought a funky old bench for 49 dollars. It was flimsy, so i hred a woodworker to stabilize it for 130 dollars.
