This is my first time posting.
Due to some wild on-stage antics, I've managed to snap my CH3 output jack off of the back panel on my Nord Stage Classic. Superficially, the nut and plastic sleeve are gone, and the board-mounted jack itself appears to be intact but unseated. (I can still get a 1/4" cable to snap into the jack, but it hums like it's ungrounded and makes no sound).
I'm certain I'll have to replace the entire jack.
Two questions:
(1) Does anyone know what specific jack I should order? I contacted Nord directly and they said to just take it to any old electronics repair shop and they would have the right part. I'd really rather go ahead and order the part and be sure before I put the keyboard on someone's bench for repair and wait for them to order the right part. This would save me from having to open up the Stage directly, fish out the broken part and go hunting.
(2) Is it possible to simply wire a panel-mounted jack to the board instead?
Thanks!

Re: Replacement Output Jack for Nord Stage Classic
I had the same problem, I ordered the part from a nord dealer and had it fitted by a family member who solders electronics for a living.
I did make a video that's on YouTube giving the basic strip down steps,
Search on YouTube, maybe try words such as Brendan greaves nord stage
I hope it helps you, regards. Bren

Re: Replacement Output Jack for Nord Stage Classic
Those parts are regular old Switchcraft connectors, commonly available worldwide. Your Stage audio output connector is Switchcraft Part Number RN112APC. A quick net search will provide contact info for plenty folks who would be delighted to take your money to process an order...

Re: Replacement Output Jack for Nord Stage Classic
Hi, I realise this thread is for a Stage Classic, but I have the same problem for an Electro 5. Actually, the L output socket broke really easily just connecting leads so maybe the socket was faulty ? Anyone have the same experience ? Anyways, does anyone know of a pointer to the part number for the socket, or a parts list or schematic for the Electro 5 ? Thx Lucky.

The correct part number is embossed on top of the connector, which will be visible once the instrument is opened.
