Alternative case for NS 76?

I'm choosing between NS 76 and NS 88.
A big concern for me is being able to transport the keyboard with ease since I gig quite a lot.
Often travelling public transport, train and such.
I've reckoned that I'll save 4,5 kg by going for NS76.
NS 88 with case = 30 kg
NS 76 with case = 25,5 kg
Would you agree with me that this is a correct "dealbreaker"?
I.e. is 25,5 kg sufficiently low for being able to drag it around to gigs?
Or will I find it to heavy anyway...
Is there any other case for NS2 76 that is even more lightweight that you know of?'
Thanks guys....

depends on what you play, too, do you need the extra keys..
If i were gigging with the NS, I would go for the compact if I could, that is LIGHT!

I can't tell you if you will will find it too heavy... it depends on how strong you are. If you are a 4'10" 90 pound girl, I bet you'd find it too heavy. If you're a 6'5" guy who works out at the gym 5x a week, probably not.
Personally, I found even the 38 lb NS2 too heavy for me to want to deal with; I'm just about okay with the 32.6 lb Yamaha MOX8. I point that out to say that, yes, 5 lbs can make a difference, but each of us probably has a slightly different threshold of which "last 5 pounds" will be the dealbreaker. Though also, you can't tell everything from pounds. The size, how the weight is distributed in the unit, how easy the unit is to grip from various angles, all make a difference in how easy it is to handle a board, so even two boards of the same weight aren't necessarily equally hard to deal with.
WIth public transport, you also have to factor in what else you may have to travel with. Can you travel with just the board? Or are there times where you'll need other things as well, like a stand or an amp? If you need those things and they won't always already be at your destination, you'd need to figure that into your total travel load.
Anyway, in a situation where portability is such an overriding concern, like using public transport, personally, I'd look for something easier to travel with than the NS2-76. I'd look for the lightest thing that had an action I could deal with. If you're not happy with its sound selection, if need be, you can supplement it with one or more small add-ons (sound modules, iPad, or laptop). Whatever sound you want, you can probably find it in something light, so the issue would be how light a board you can find that has an action you like.

The NS2-88 is heavy to carry - perhaps not so heavy for what it is - but you will probably struggle to walk with it on your own.
Sure you can move it short distances (around the house/venue, to load it in the car, etc) and the soft bag has wheels which makes it a bit easier.
But whichever you get, forget the "soft-bag" if you are not going to carry it in your own vehicle, where you can make sure that nothing else will be put on top, or dropped like a piece of luggage.

Thanks for the answers.
I really need the weighted keys for pianoplaying so Compact is not an option.
And another brand then Nord is not an option either.
Think I'll go for the NS 76!
But what about an alternative gig bag in order to save some kg's?
The case for NS76 is 9 kg.
This one, SKB KB 76, is 6 kg!

What do you think about that one?
Every little kg counts!

Until now, I have not seen a better case then the one I got.
It's a new series from SKB, they like "copied" the designed from the pelican cases.
if you have the 76 keys, it will fit too.
here is my post:

I don't know, maybe in the SKB site they have the weight.
But it's lighter then the other SKB model.
It's shorter in size, more like the size of the Nords.
I guess it's the best choice for cases.

Hm ok, I searched for the model number mentioned in the thread you linked to. That case seems to weigh 9 kg, i.e. More heavy than the Skb model i mentioned above.
Can you check again for the model number?
