Hi,
I'm kinda new to Nord Wave, I've purchased the product two weeks ago. So, I wanted to upload the sample library into the Wave and would be able to play the sample on the synth. I've been following the exact steps on uploading the sample.

1) I've downloaded the sample library from the website.
2) I've upload a .nsmp to the sample library using the drag and drop technique
3) The sample already added to the sample library

So, my question is, where can I find the sample that I've uploaded in the Nord Wave? What's the next step? Sorry if this question is kinda stupid cause I'm kinda new to the synth. But it would be appreciated if you can help me solve this problem.

Your next step will be to create a program to use the sample you added; this is because the samples are not complete sounds, but are meant to serve as a starting point for creating your own sounds (programs). Since you got the Wave synthesizer, I assume creating (or tweaking) your own sounds is one of the things you're interested in

Creating a simple sound based on a sample is not that hard: you need to press the SAMP INIT 'button' and select the sample you want to you. This is described on page 18 of the manual. You'll find SAMP INIT written below the vibrato button: if a text is written below a button, it means you need to press shift and that button to use it. So press the shift button (and keep it pressed) and then press the Vibrato button. This creates a default starting point for sounds based on samples; now select the sample you want to use (check Sample Instruments on page 21 for more info on how to do that).

Unless you safe changes you've made, they are lost when you switch to another program.

If you go to the information page about the Wave on the Nord site, there is a section called Program Library. You can find quite a few libraries of complete sounds there. All these sounds use the default samples or the virtual-analog section, so you won't have to upload additional samples. These are also excellent for getting ideas on how to create your own sounds. A tip to help you here: if you press shift and turn a knob, it will show you the current value, instead of changing the value.
