Using the delay to give the Leslie a bigger chamber

Post by flmc59 »

Set the delay to on
Swell led should be off
Feedback off or first led
Tempo 10 = shortest delay
Amount 5-8
This gives a bit more of an ambient sound. Reminds me
A little of the early McGriff recordings that have a lot of ambient sound in the leslie.

Thanks! I tried that last night, and it is a easy way to get a cool new sound out of the C2!

I appreciate the idea.

Of you have a programmeble multieffect delay the. i would try the following.
No effects on the C2d
Add a multitapped delay with times around 2 - 6 ms
Feed it into a room reverb
Feed that into a stage or hall reverb
You might want to add a spring reverb first in the chain

You could try and do it in a daw with vst plugs first.
Reaper is an excellent alternative that is free for evaluation
