E3 intermittent key

I've got one key that plays sometimes. If you play it several times it will sound.
Does anyone have a repair idea for this and does anyone know what screws need to be removed to get at the fix?
I've got the screws at the back of the unit removed and two underneath and it's still solid as a rock.
Thanks

Hello Chuck and welcome to the forum.

If you also remove the screws in the wooden end panels, the top should come off.

This might just be a problem with the contacts for that particular key. Another user posted about a similar problem yesterday and I linked a page with more information in his thread: http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-elect ... t3358.html

You might also want to contact Pablo Mastodon, who works for American Music & Sound, the US distributor for Nord products. He reads this forum, but you could also send him a PM or phone him. You can find his details on this page: http://www.proaudioe.com/pages/nord-tec ... rt-usa.php

here's a FAQ I wrote discussing the keybed design of all Nords (and almost every other keyboard on the planet):

If you'd like to discuss details, please feel free...

Please do not hesitate to contact me again in future, by email or phone, with any further inquiries you may have regarding this or other Nord gear.
