Nord Piano 2 - Adjustable key range?

Is it possible to have, for example

A piano all across the 88 keys

With

A bass layered across the first couple of octaves or so?

Can you adjust key range in a layer? Either on the board or with the sample editor

I know you can do a direct split but I dont wanna lose the piano sound in the bottom half

I know you can do a direct layer but I dont want a bass sound in the higher octaves, that would sound terrible

Thanks for your help

I have to stop answering posts thinking that the Stage is the only instrument in existence. ARRGH! :(

Is that a "no" then?

Sorry, I gave an answer valid for the Stage, neglecting to see which intrument was in question. Someone else will pop by soon with info.

After reading through the manual it kind of looks like a 'no', with the caveat of this: you could make a sample of the piano and bass together and play that on the lower part, but you'd lose your dynamic capabilities.

I could be wrong, I don't own a Piano 2, but that's my take from the manual. Like Sakari probably said above, on the Stage this is pretty simple to do.
