Layering synth to piano based on velocity

Hi,
I would like to layer a soft brass synth sampled sound to an electric piano (both on the same slot), but I would like the synth to play only when note velocity is higher than 64.
I know the NS2 synth only has a single velocity layer when it's used as a sampler, but in fact I would simply like to limit this single velocity layer to velocity higher than 64.
Is there a way to implement such a patch in NS2 ? Is there a way to do that if I use the synth with internal waveform instead of samples ?

Thank in advance
Bye
GF

With practice, you will be able to adjust the velocity to a certain and this should meet your needs, but the feature of velocity-switching of patches at programmable levels is not supported in the NS 2.

Yes....no way at the moment.....everyone is hoping , with a new OS and sample editor ,that those velocity layers will be possible in the future......who knows...
one solution (but it depends on what kind of phrases you play) should be to connect and expression pedal and use it as a volume for synth brass.
The volume with pedal responds very quickly.
Hope it helps

+1 on the expression pedal. Works great for me. Great for programming cross-fades too!
