I'm absolute new for NS - knowing nothing ! Just bought an old Nord Stage 88 Revision B OS 2.16 , laying for years under the bad ,never updated !
1. NS 88 Revision B -is actually Classic or EX ?
2. The latest OS version is enough to upload ?(which one ?) Or do I have to loud one after another ?
3. What piano programs ( and samples ) should I load to have the best available Grand for that old NS . ?
4. String Resonance - works with unit ? New OS will Help ?

HELP PLEASE ! This guy who sold me NS lost even Manual. I'm new for NS.

Hello prohammond,
Welcome to the forums :welcome:
The Rev B is still considered to be the "Classic" rather than the Ex model.
The manual can be found here:
http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stage ... tml#p13727

The latest OS for your instrument is v5.04
You can update directly to it.
It can be found here:
http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?t ... &osdwn=osw

Pianos are subject to individual tastes, but the Grand Imperial (Bosendorfer) is a favorite of many.

I believe that the String Resonance feature won't be available in the Classic, only the Ex and later models.
Cheers, Hanon

The Stage Classic only has 128 MB for piano sounds, while the EX has 256 MB (and the Stage 2 even more), so you can't use the XL version of some piano's (which are about 196 MB).
