New NS2 with keybed velocity problem from factory (fixed)

Hi everyone,
I was happy with my brand new NS2 until I turn on and find out that the middle key G (G2) had a problem with velocity
If I play very soft it sounds soft, if I play hard it sounds hard but the medium was hard too, only in this key
So, after some forum reading I found that some people had problems with dust, but my was new, so, I thought it could be some dust from assembling the keyboard in the factory.
But it WASN'T
between the metal plate that holds the keys and the contacts plate, there is a plastic were the screws holes are, and that was the problem
I took some pictures before and after I cut off the plastic
It fixed the problem, It was a little higher and I guess it made the space bigger, so the key wasn't hitting the contact right.
Now I'm happy again

Could you send Clavia an email about this? Because someone at their quality control department really should've picked this up.

Good to see you got it fixed, but a new Nord instrument shouldn't have problems like this. If they know what issue you had (maybe link this post), they can focus on making sure this doesn't happen again.

I second that. You should really send them an e-mail. These things are hand-made for a reason!

Question... when you put everything together, did you hear any cracking noise when moving the key bed? do you find that the keys have lost velocity... i did not have the same issue as you, but I feel that my keys are playing to easy ....i feel that I put no power on the keys and i get sound
