Nord Piano Monitor V2 hiss noise

I've recently purchased the Nord Piano Monitor V2s, and I've noticed a persistent hiss noise coming from them.

I'm not entirely sure if it was there from the beginning, but it became very apparent after I reinstalled my setup.

The noise is constant and persists regardless of the volume level—it sounds like a background hiss, similar to when the gain is set too high.

This happens even when I disconnect my audio interface, so the noise is coming directly from the speakers themselves.

Is this considered normal behavior for these monitors? For those who own them, do you experience the same thing

It's quite audible even while I'm sitting at my playing position

Please excuse my English, as I used a translation tool for this post

This is a problem that has been reported frequently, including here: viewtopic.php?t=23926

The first pair of speakers I received had an audible hiss sound that was too loud for me. The replacement speakers I received have only a minimal amount of static, which you can only hear if you put your ear right up to them. If I were you, I’d exchange them.

I’d like to exchange the speakers, but due to regulations in my country, it’s not possible after one month.
Thank you for your response.

Don't you have a warranty of at least 1 year? If you can't swap/return them you may still ask to have them repaired under warranty, at least.
