Nord Piano 6 – High price stability

Since I've been monitoring the market for a potential planned update, I've noticed that here in Europe the Nord Piano 6 is extremely price-stable.

As far as I can recall, this wasn't the case with the Nord Stage 4 or Nord Piano 5, where prices dropped noticeably even before the one-year mark.

Perhaps that is simply a sign that the Nord Piano 6 is selling very well.

Or maybe it's just the result of the world-economy :?: I find that almost all prices of music-gear is slowly increasing.
The price of a Nord Stage 4 is now about 8-10% higher compared to when I bought mine in 2023. This is just about the same as the general price increase in the same period.
I do believe that the Nords tended to stay at the same price over a long period even when the prices raised in general, but that's not the case anymore.

Breaking News:

Defying all expectations of rising global prices, the price of the NP6 has dropped by 3% today (as of April 2026) at Europe’s largest music retailer.

It seems there is finally some movement after a solid year.
