HOW TO TRANSPORT 88 Keys?!
Does anyone have a good idea or practical experience on how to transport a NORD Stage 88 without injuring your back? Are there any good examples?

Re: HOW TO TRANSPORT 88 Keys?!
For a start, I don’t have to lug an 88-key instrument around every week. I went with a Stage Compact and have multiple 88-key controllers sitting where I need them. I usually only transport the Compact. That's not the same for you.
If I have to play out, I have to carry the weighted keyboard - there's nothing but the keyboard in the bag. All the other stuff (pedals etc.) is carried around separately.
It may happen that I use a really heavy piano controller - this one is in a soft bag with wheels.
When I have to haul the instrument up the stairs, I take my time. Even if band mates will have to wait for a moment. Nothing worse than a careless twist.
The rest depends a lot on your personal conditions: age, way you need to cover, space left in your car etc. A foldable trolley can be useful (I usually don't use mine but try to drive the car right towards the stairs of the stages).

Re: HOW TO TRANSPORT 88 Keys?!
It's a heavy sucker. When I had one (and I was younger!) I found that Nord's 88 bag had both wheels and well-placed handles, including one that made it easy to tow around on a hard surface. I used a judo throw to leverage into the back of the SUV. I learned to ask for help when loading and unloading it from my stand. I also had a wheeled cart for soft surfaces.
I've used shorter (and lighter) 76-key boards for many years, and have never missed the extra keys.

I think I have gear issues ....
