Nord Sample Editor 4 does not work with NP6

Hi everyone,
I don't know if I've missed something, but it seems the Nord Sample Editor 4 doesn't work with my Nord Piano 6. It's quite frustrating, especially since it seems to work with the Nord Piano 5! The 6 has been out for almost a year now, so I find it strange that it hasn't been supported yet.
Do you know if I'm mistaken? Has anyone else tried it?

Eventually, there were reports that some OS versions from the keyboard don't work with some NSM software versions, especially if one is a lot newer than the other. So maybe, have a look what OS versions and NSE versions you are running - it may be the same.

Currently I'm running last version of both (OS 1.20 for NP6 and 4.32 for NSE). As the NSE page on nordkeyboards website doesn't even mention NP6, I think it's simply not being supported yet.
What annoys me slightly, given the price of the machine and the fact that the Nord Sample Editor is clearly mentioned in the NP6 manual.
I think I'll try contacting Nord support. I will keep you informed.

Have you tried to work on NSE without the NP6 connected, just generate the .nsmp4 file on the computer and then load it into NP6 with the Nord Sound Manager?

Thanks maxpiano, your tip definitely works!
I was able to upload the sounds to my NP6 directly through the Nord Sound Manager.
I was even able to drag and drop my files in nspm3 format, and the NSM automatically converted them to nspm4. Perfect.
I still hope the Nord Piano 6 will soon be fully compatible with the NSE.
