NP4 trying to replace contacts and now no sound

Question-what am I missing
I have replaced the rubber contacts before, but this time I replaced the full set. Opened everything up, label all the screws, put it back together, and turned it on.

Everything powers up like normal and respond to DB levels turning the master and keys/synth knobs. But nothing comes out the left/right or the headphone jack. I'm testing it with a keyboard amp which works and a simple quarter inch which also works. I have opened it up a couple times and checked the contact points for the ribbon cables to the Keybed and power supply. Is there something that I'm missing? Any advice or visuals would help immensely! Thank you

Hi, welcome to NUF...

I suggest to check if (assuming you have a Global MIDI channel assigned) you can play it via MIDI (external keyboard or computer via USB MIDI) and/or you see MIDI notes sent by the NP4.

If not, probably something wrong with the way you reconnected the keybed to the mainboard.

I think I messed the reassembly.Do you know of a good step by step video or picture sequence so I can check myself at each step?

Here's a video of replacing the keys on a Nord Stage 4:

And a Nord Piano 3:

Hopefully you'll find something to point you towards a solution.

I'm curious why the contacts needed to be replaced on this keyboard? Did you spill a large bottle of soda into the keybed? Good luck!
