Pipe Organ Sounds

Hi everyone,

Can anyone do a comparison of the pipe organ on the C2D with the Organ 3? From what I can tell the C2D seems like it is in another class to any other Nord offering... the Organ 3 seems similar to the Electro 6 which isn't great really (only principal stops).
Am I right?

Hello!

The Nord C2D instrument contains a beautiful sampled baroque organ with 21 stops (9+9+3)
and also six couplers (as we know from pipe organs: SW16/GR - SW/GR - SWELL16 - SWELL4 - SW/PED - GR/PED).

I don't know the Nord Organ 3 personally, but the description and pictures show that it contains a Pipe Organ model (2x9 + 2 stops),
probably more modern than the NS4 (where there are 2 models) and mainly without couplers.

Addendum

Curiosity led me to the showroom of a local dealer to get to know and listen to the NO3.

The pipe organ on the NO3 seems to me like a tonewheel organ with a different character from the B3.
The upper and lower manuals also offer the same stops (2 x 9 as I estimated above).
Vibrato/Chorus for the Pipe organ allows you to turn on only one Chorus C1 type and only for both manuals at the same time.

A new feature is the separate independent choice of organ model for bass/pedal registers.

By turning on the ROTARY SPEAKER sim, the resulting sound reminded me of a nice theater organ!

Lovers of the sound of classic pipe organs cannot be satisfied with the Pipe organ mode on the Nord Organ 3.
The Nord C2D Pipe organ provides a full-fledged two-manual baroque organ.

Let it play
