Just getting to know my Electro 6D 61.

I can't seem to be able to change the zones.

My method:

With the sections turned on, I hold down shift and press the KBD Zone button for the appropraite section.

This always shows two green lights no matter how many times I press. This is the same for organ, pianos and sample synth.

I get the words "organ on", "piano on" or "synth on" flash up on screen.

The manual states: Press ZONE SELECT (Shift + On/Off) to assign the Organ [piano/sample synth] to either or both
of the two keyboard zones. The KBD ZONE LEDs indicate the zones to
which the Organ section is assigned.

Have I made a mistake?

Found the solution. You have to first select KBD Split button in the Prgram section (the red section between the Piano and Sample Synth Sections.
