Grand Imperial XL problem

Hi, everyone.
I have got Nord Stage 4 and would like you to check the problem I have with Grand Imperial XL piano sample.
I mean the F5 key. It is a bit louder than others and I think it is a bit different in sound. I add that the problem is only with Grand Imperial, so it’s not problem with my keyboard.
Have you got the same feelings? Thanks for response

Sorry my friend. It's so annoying but this is a flaw and this is the reason I can't go through and use this sample.
Also notes from B5 to E6 have less energy than supposed to. They seem to miss high velocities samples. Or volume in general

Forgot to mention that F#5 uses the same exact sample thus having the same exact problem but maybe less evident being on a black key which is usually palyed a little softer due to acton limitations

It's part of its "character." Charming little issues that no-one would tolerate on an actual keyboard, but point to on simulated ones as part of the fun.
In this case, just pretend it's a misaligned wippen.

Try the L sample instead.

You may be right. Or you maybe completely wrong.
You see there was an early issue, now becoming known, with the triple sensors on New Nords. All of mine had to be replaced after 2 years (£280). You may not notice the change, but it starts with the "well pressed" notes becoming louder. Only when everything is removed can you see which ones are worn and malfunctioning. They're extremely sensitive - in their very design.
One of the reasons they now come with a 5 year warranty ie. many had to be replaced, retailers and buyer's complaining...

As you can read in the initial post, the problem discussed in this thread has nothing to do with a keyboard/sensor issue but with a Nord Piano Library specific sampleset having a specific note/sample sounding "weird"

There is a g# at 3rd octave if i remember correct at white grand that sounding higher than the others too..
I think nord should have somekind of velocity programm to be able to modify as we want each sample

I hear you! And strongly agree.
But Nord's philosophy is "ready (and flawed) out of the box".
We'll never have such an edit gift I'm afraid.
Still their piano world is better sounding than anything else to my ears. Frustrating as it is

The Imperial is still my goto AP
We torture ourselves by assuming that the XL variations of sounds MUST be better, they have more detail and more sampling right!?
I must have swapped the L sample with the XL a hundred times trying to convince myself of this, but on this Imperial sample the L is definitely better somehow. It seems to be stronger in the mid keyboard with a little more bite in the chords, so i'm still with the 'L'!
