Triggers and MIDI out

Quick question before I get hold of one of these!
If using acoustic ddrum triggers with the Nord Drum, will the unit output MIDI for recording into a DAW for example?

The short answer is yes.
Page 4 of the
manual indicates that "a performance on pads connected to the trig inputs will also be transmitted as MIDI notes".
