NO SOUND after transferring patches to a different instrument

Hey there,

Im currently working with 2 different Stage 3's and I am trying to move my songs from one to another.

I uploaded to song to my MacBook and then downloaded it to the other Stage 3 and it shows the Song name and the patches inside it but it doesn't play any sound from them.

Any idea why this happened or how to fix it?

You don't use the Nord speech, so it's a little complicated to understand what happend.

I assume that you mean 'song' by 'song' and 'program' by 'patch'.

Two ideas come to mind immediately:
a) The routing is different - main out isn't where the sound gets to (unlikely);
b) you transferred the songs but either the referenced programs are empty (they aren't necessarily copied along if it wasn't a bundle) or the referenced samples inside the programs don't exist.

Terms:

Program -- a stored combination of all three sections, any samples and settings they use, and both panels.
Song -- a list entry that points at one or more programs.

So you don't move songs, you move programs.

If you moved a program and its samples, check:
- can you see the program samples being referenced in the program window?
- is something else was keeping the second NS3 from making sound? Long list: pedal in wrong input, cables in wrong output, routing set up weird, volume pedal at zero, etc.

I've gone back and forth a bunch between two NS3s, it's pretty straightforward.
