Hey, wondering if someone can help me out with my Nord Electro 5 because I'm out of ideas.
I Ended up buying a Nord off of marketplace that needed a control panel and it got here and I installed it last night. but when I turned it on all I got was the screen saying (Nord Electro 5) and it wont get past that screen. I've tried looking through many different forums, I've also tried putting it into update mode, but when I try connecting it to the computer on sound manager in update mode it says that it will not support a device on that operating system. When I try to update it it wont complete the reboot process because it gets stuck on the (Nord Electro 5) Screen. I'm really trying not to spend another 5-6 hundred dollars on a main board. if someone has experience with this please help.

Have you tried an older version of sound manager? If I remember correctly the newer sound manager will not connect to older firmware versions. The keyboard you purchased may have the older firmware.

Shouldn't you first run the OS update program, instead of the sound manager?
'Update mode' is to force the instrument to update, not to manage sounds.

I tried every older sound manager and none will connect to it even tho my computer recognizes it as a usb device (only in update mode)

I have, when I try to update it it gets stuck on the boot screen again and never updates because it wont properly reboot.

Have you tried a different USB cable (preferably short one)?
