Nord Stage 3 Issues & Possible Replacement

I've had my NS376 since 2019 and for the most part have been very happy with it. In Aug 2023 it failed to boot due to a main board failture and I sent it to Jam Industries in Montreal Canada for repair via Long & McQuade Ottawa where I purchased it. The repair estimate came back at $1,200 and after some negotiating went down to about $800. After several months I got it back and it seemed fine. Now it's started to act up again and often when I rotate the program knob the screen goes blank, flashes etc. I'm running firmware 2.64 and there don't seem to be any further updates available.
Does any one have any advice or can anyone suggest an alternate product as I'm getting near the end of my patience with this NS3. I need good piano sounds, Hammond B3 and bass sounds (we don't have a bass player in our band so I cover that on the NS3).
Many thanks for any repliles.

David

What you describe might be loose connection. It's definitely worth having a local keyboard repair shop take a look and see if that's all it is. On the journey of a new keyboard, the NS4 is worth checking out if you love the Nord pianos and already have synth samples you'd like to take with you. Given the price of the NS4, it might be worth checking out the new Roland V-Stage (in $3K range). The Nord pianos are much better, but EPs and synth are nice and overall it might meet your needs. If price doesn't matter - definitely NS4 IMO. Cheers!
