Hi guys I'm new to the forum and the Nord Grand 2 as I just received it and unboxed it today. To my disappointment when I sit down and played the first thing I noticed is a slight outwards bent of the black plate. Does anyone else have the same situation? Is it normal or I should contact the distributor? Thank you so much for your help in advance.

Notice how it bulges outwards at the middle C region

It measures 3mm at the side and 5mm at the central region

I'm will be really disappointed if this happens to be a QC issue... Or I'm spiraling idk

possibly dropped on its side during shipment. the case on Nords is a thin sheet of aluminum and it bends if you look at it wrong. I'd contact the retailer and/or shipper about filing a damage claim.

The front area is steel. It is very hard. I received my first Grand 2 so bent it was restricting some keys along with a cracked end wooden piece. Yours look fairly minor. What is the minimum and maximum separation?

Hard to see the exact measurements.

The gap seems 5mm in the middle and 3.5mm at the side, seems like an imperfection rather than damage, and if there are no other problems with the keyboard that point to a drop or mishandling, I think I'd ignore it personally, but whatever you do, don't try to bend it back using tools or a lot of force on one spot,
- it's up to you, it's brand new, still under warranty
