Thanks for tolerating my newbie questions!

I had my first band practice with my new Electro 6D Nord last night, and while it sounded awesome, I had some issues with the consistency of the volume levels. I know that in Live mode it sticks with the last setting I used, so it wasn't that, and I wasn't using that mode very much. And of course I know that there is a master volume and a volume control for each engine. But it seemed like no matter where things were set, some of the programs were much louder than others and some were so quiet as to not even cut through the band at all.
I'm not using any of the custom organ drawbar settings yet; just pre-made Nord patches.
Does this make sense? Am I doing something wrong?

IMHO: If the pre-made Nord patches have different levels in volume you might (have to) adjust the levels at the engine volume control and save it over the existing patch (or into a new, empty location).
