Nord Drum 2 Factory Kits as SYSEX?

I am wondering if anyone around here who has a Nord Drum 2 would be able to provide a SYSEX dump of the factory banks? Clavia / Nord only provide this in their own proprietary format which requires some old Windows or OS X software that's no real use to me on Linux. Using SYSEX things would work just fine. (They did for the Nord Drum 1 after all.) Help please?

I was able to extract what I think might be the ND2 factory content in SYSEX format. I have no way to verify that it really is the factory content because my ND2 had a previous owner and I don’t know for certain whether he modified anything in the first 4 banks. But since nobody else seems to be able to help, it’s the best I can do for now. The MD5SUM for this is 7b90a48b49e0a621dc82a03c5e6d8ebe for whoever needs to know or cares about such things.
EDIT: These actually seem to be the factory content after all, see the discussion below. Alas I could not figure out how to rename the file attached to this post, sorry. The "maybe" can (in all likelihood) be removed.

I know I am talking to myself over here but I do wonder: My "maybe factory" file has now been downloaded 220 times as of this reply. Is that just the "AI" bots scraping away or are actual people interested in having this? If it's the latter, then I am even more perplexed that on a Nord forum, nobody is able to "help" actually confirm whether I have extracted the "real" factory presets or not. Anyone? Anyone? Oh well.

Hi Pehaef,
Attached is a sysex file of 8 banks: first the 4 factory banks (Kits1, Kits2, Tuned, Fantasy) then the Beem bank, the Boska bank and the Tilliander bank, then a bank of myself, I didn't include the Ulves and Gilmore bank, I was focussing on the 4 factory banks, sorry!
Note that all banks will be overwritten.
Cheers,
Albert

Thank you so much Albert, this should prove very useful indeed! I'll try to work around my studio chaos to hook up the ND2 ASAP to double-check everything on my end. Yay!

Perfect! I took the banks Albert shared, removed the sounds in the top four banks, then dumped the SYSEX and (drumroll) the file that results is exactly the file I posted earlier. So with high probability we have therefore found the actual factory content. Nothing else for me to post I guess? Thank you again Albert! Now people can "factory reset" their ND2 units if they want to without having to find some ancient piece of software that's not around anymore. And that was the goal all along.

You"re welcome! Extremely high probability that these are the factory banks

as I downloaded the banks directly from the Nord website, installed them on my ND2 with the Nord drum 2 manager (still works fine on Win 11), then used the MIDI sysex dump function (on the unit itself) to store all banks on my PC as sysex.

I wasn't able to find the ND2 manager on the Nord website anymore at all. Am I doing it wrong or did you just have it installed already or have an old installer backed up?

You're right, it's no longer there, I guess since their newly designed website, so I asked them (today) if they could make the ND2 manager available again (it's windows and mac only b.t.w.), let's see what happens..
b.t.w. the Nord drum 3 manager is not compatible with the ND2 (I tried)

Yeah, someone on another forum
insisted that the ND3 manager "works for
all Nord Drums not just the 3P" so despite my severe doubts about that I tried. Then I told him that he's wrong and of course he's not made a peep since. I really wonder sometimes.
Thanks again for helping! I am no fan of using ancient unsupported software
but having it be available despite that status is certainly better than not having it at all. Who knows, it may even work in Wine; most MIDI stuff seems to.
