Triple Pedal: Way too Hard to Depress / Adjustments? / Advice?
Posted: 14 Dec 2024, 01:18
Hi,
New Nord user here. The pressure required to depress any of the pedals on the triple pedal is far too high. After just a few foot presses, I am in pain. Has anyone ever attempted to adjust the necessary pressure? Any advice regarding this would be gratefully received. The spring pressure is far higher than on any piano I have ever played... although, perhaps it's a different »kind of pressure, since these pedals are mechanically different from how a piano pedal actually functions. Nevertheless, I have played other pedals (sustain, etc) that are not as difficult to trigger as these.
Any advice appreciated!
TIA
