Hi. I am using a Nord Stage 4 which is pretty much brand new and I was recording with a Sure SM7 and the keybords power supply was creating a hum in my mic which got worse the closer I put my mic to it. I did a lot of different tests to get to only this being the issue, not cables or mics etc. Anyone know a way around this?

Nords' power supplies employ an AC mains transformer so often exhibit electromagnetic interference at 50/60 Hz or produce acoustic hum at the same frequencies. Some units perform better than others, so if it's possible to exchange your unit for a different one, it might (no guarantee) improve the behaviour. Although, as the Nord ages, the transformers typically worsen, so this might not permanently solve the issue.

I assume your issue is electromagnetic... The Shure SM7A added EM shielding to deal with this. If your SM7 is the original, the easiest remedy is to maximize the separation between the Nord and the Shure.
