Okay - Sorry - But reading the Question the first time, this answer comes the first in mind
But well - back to topic - as you´re asking, you seem to have a special Idea about.
What is your intention to "wire" your (not moving key) wireless? And what range do you consider?
Would´nt that be a unnecessary risk to loose signal in drop offs in the end?
With that - a reliable System would need a "little" budget again
and you surely would want to use it as reliable (no Drop offs or great Delay) as can be (and in Stereo).
Or do you talk about MIDI?
I had a situation with a small Trio, where I had to put the Main-Outs to a different place of the site (+50m).
So I took two Sennheiser SKP100 with Receivers, we had on hand, to bring the Signal around the corner.
But this would be to expensive just for a Key...
And Well - to say it with "glombi" - I´ve learned some golden Stage-Rules with the Years.
One is:
"if it doesn´t move, put a cable on" - And I hope my Nord-Key will NOT move...

Asking if anybody is using wireless with their keyboard is way to broad a question, you need to be more specific.
Do you mean
1. wireless MIDI
2. Wireless AUDIO
3. Wireless MIDI and AUDIO
and for what specific purpose. explain what it is your trying to accomplish.

Speaking only for Wireless MIDI.
I use the Widi Master in the studio in order to use the Extern section to connect to app on the iPAD. Works well, very cheap and no battery hassle.
For live performance, I use the Widi X8 to trigger sounds on the Nord Stage from my Roland AX7 keytar (no audio interface on the AX1/AX7). Tried many other alternatives, bluetooth is not stable with the distance, and many WIFI MIDI devices are not as reliable as this old interface. I even transplanted the PCB inside the X8 transmitter device directly in the AX7, therefore no wires at all and amazing freedom !
There are plenty of dicussions on the wireless MIDI in the Keytar Group on Facebook.
Just my €.02,
Fred
