Nord Electro 7 ?

Hi, I have not been following the Electro 7 as a successor model. Can anyone say whether there are any concrete indications as to when the successor model will be launched? Is something in the pipeline?

Only Nord knows. You might want to consult this thread for lots of epic reading with plenty of speculations from forum members.

And while there is a lot of ranting and completely unfounded speculation in this discussion (especially from me), you will find it pretty informative. The group here knows, loves, and suffers with their Nords more than anyone else around.

I just recently bought an Electro 6D and was wondering the same thing before I bought it....Doesn't seem to be anything but speculation as of now. I'm curious to see what features it would have to offer compared with the 6. I don't forsee that it'd be anything to major, otherwise it'd come too close in competition with the stage, and I'd assume nord wants to keep that as a significant enough upgrade.
