Hi Guys,

I remember that it was possible to copy what you have set from Slot A to Slot B and vice versa on Stage Classic. Is it possible on Stage 2? Could you remind me the way to do it?

Hello whitenoise,
It almost works the same way. However, it uses the Slot Button, instead of the Panel Button.
Manual page 11 wrote:If you press and hold a Slot Button, you can copy the settings of any other Slot in memory, by turning the Value Dial until you find the sound you wish to copy.
Release the Slot Button and the settings of the selected source will be copied to the edit buffer.
Do not forget to save the new settings if you want to keep them in a Program.
I hope that this helps.
Cheers, Hanon

Is it possible to copy "only a section" of slot B to slot A ?
Say I have a piano on Slot A and and Organ on slot B. The above explanations will erase the Piano and replace it with the Organ, idea is to combine and have only 1 slot with both Piano and Organ.

Thanks,

Fred

No, not on the NS2. I'm not sure for the NS3.

Thanks !
Think I'll have to write the parameters of one of the section and recreate it in the other panel then :(

First response to the user group so take it with a grain of salt but...
yeah, I've run into that problem, too. I don't have a workaround for combining piano and organ aside from recreating the sound, but if one of them is a synth I finally realized that I wasn't using the synth presets as much as I should and I should just save my synth sound as a preset and then I could call it up on my piano or organ panel and I wouldn't have to reprogram the entire patch.

I think I’d just switch back and forth between the panels, tweaking two or three parameters at a time. Shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, even with effects.
