Are C-note keys always louder / more clacky on Electro 6D?

Good day my fellow Nord-enthusiasts! :keyboard2:

I am now a proud owner of a newly bought Electro 6D (61) and am really enjoying it! Especially for it's upright pianos (Amber and Felt alone make the price of admission worth it to me!).

The keybed might not be the best I've ever played, but definitly usable! It is just a great overall package for a lightweight board with amazing sounds.

I did however notice that the C-Keys are particularly "clacky" on my 6D and leaves me wondering if this is always the case with the Electro? I recently returned a Vox Continental where some keys were unacceptably loud and this is not definitly not the case here... but I can still hear the rattling noise when playing with headphones on. So there's that.

I made a short video illustrating what I mean. It is in no terms meant to show my piano techniques

TLDR: C-Note keys are pretty loud/rattling/"clacky" upon release.
Is this normal behaviour?

Hope some Electro owners can chip in! :thanx:

Sorry for the double post
...but I'm still here, wondering why all my C-Notes are rattling whilst playing.

I would really appreciate it if any other Electro owners could share their experiences! Any and all reactions would be of great help! :thanks:

Other users remedied/improved clacking noises by reapplying grease to their key bed actions.
I don't have a waterfall action so my experience may be different, but my middle octaves definitely make more clacking noises - I suspect this occurs due to their higher use (and thus faster degradation of the grease).
So, if you play mostly in keys to which C belongs, I suspect higher wear on C, and therefore higher noise.
This is just my theory.

Thanks for the reply!

The thing is, this electro is brand-spanking-new... so there should be no wear at all. But you may be on to something here. Perhaps all the C-Keys were just insufficiently greased at the factory?

I just can't explain it otherwise. My short video doesn't do it justice, as it is much louder and more "clacky" when playing intensely fast.

:keyboard:

I'm afraid I'll have to send it back

Especially if it’s brand new and under warranty I would not consider anything else
