hi - I'm fortunate enough to call a Nord Grand 2 my own now. Fwiw, it's my first Nord keyboard.

The Uno Corda (left pedal) does not seem to have any effect with the White Grand (assuming it's the most complete sample set), so I went into the pedal settings and it doesn't seem to recognize the pedal. I only see the TP-1 which is labeled as 'not connected'. (the sustain (right) pedal works just fine)

Does anybody have thoughts or experience on what I could be doing wrong here? First attempt was with the delivered OS v1.04, no change after updating to v1.08...

Hi, the Pedal Type setting is only related to the Sustain Pedal jack input, NTP2 has its own dedicated connector so no setting is required.

If Sustain and Sostenuto pedals are working properly it should be OK, but I suggest you to unplug, then check (for bent pins) and replug the NTP2 anyway, just in case.

About Una Corda, the effect may be very subtle, if you want to verify if it is working you may connect the NG2 to a computer/tablet via USB MIDI and use a MIDI Monitor app to see if related MIDI CC is sent over the NG2 Global MIDI channel when you press the pedal.

thank you for your input and clarifying about these settings. reconnecting the pedal did the trick and all is dandy now. what a cool instrument the NG2 is.
