Hello,
i think i'm to stupid for this simple programming.
Since 2017 i'm very happy with my Nord Stage 3 - 88. In 2020 i buy a used Yamaha MX49 to have a second key to play in a classic rock coverband.
At the beginning of this year 2024, I bought a used Nord Wave 2 to get into the Nord summit with Nord Stage3 + Nord Wave 2
Dual KB Mode works very well. So i have on Nord Wave 2 the organ and on Nord Stage 3 Piano & Synth.
But, in song mode (e.g. in a song) i have 3 different programms, only one programm with the Dual KB Mode.
Program O:25 is my program without sound on the Wave 2 (especially for Dual KB - organ)
I understand that the external section NS3 allows me to change the program of the Wave from the Stage, but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Nord Stage 3 extern settings :
site 1/10 MIDI Channel Usage = Per Program
site 2/10 MIDI Channel PANEL A = 2 Per Program
site 2/10 MIDI Channel PANEL B = 3 Per Program
site 6/10 Send On Load Panel A & B : PC = On / Vol = On / UsrCC = Off
site 7/10 for programm O:25 : MSB = 0 / LSB = 2 / PC = 109

Nord Stage 3 MIDI settings :
site 2/5 : Channel Global = Off / PanelA = 2 / PanelB = 3 / DuaKb = 4
site 3/5 : CC = Send & PC = Send

Nord Wave 2 MIDI settings :
site 2/6 : Global Channel = 4
site 3/6 : Layer A-D = Off
site 4/6 : CC = recieve / PC = recieve

You need to set the Global channel on the Wave 2 to the same channel as one of the extern slots, as that is where the program changes are generated. Having the Extern A/B set to different channels can also cause a problem if you are only addressing the Wave 2 and nothing else. Make sure the Extern slot is actually activated (turn on the Zone lights, turn them off again if you don't want to play the Wave 2 sounds from the NS3).
