Just checking this is correct...

I have a pedal plugged in to the organ swell input.

From what I gather it's not currently possible to have it as a dual function, ie; to control the swell of the organ when playing the organ section and the volume of the synth or piano section when using those sounds.

I went into the "pedal" menu and the options are only "swell", "volume" or "morph". I gather these are global?

The reason I ask; I've set up a synth patch with the "control" pedal controlling a wah effect and I wanted to use another pedal connected to the "organ swell" to control the volume of the synth patch. However I also want the "organ swell" pedal to work as an organ swell when I'm using an organ sound.

What instrument are you talking about? Which Stage generation?

If you don't want to always add your gear, create a signature text or just select your Nord gear - both in User Control Panel > Profile in the forum software.

Right, Swell Pedal input on NS4can only work as Organ Swell or global Volume or Wheel Morph (i.e replicating the ModWheel morphing, so if you morph the MW to the synth volume and set swell function like this you may obtain what you want, but “sacrificing” the MW)

Thanks again Maxpiano. So in doing that I'd sacrifice being able to use the pedal as an organ swell without changing the setting each time?

Not sure if on NS4 that setting is per Program or Global (I have a NS3 where it is global) so… just try.

You could set the control pedal to organ swell + control pedal and the swell pedal to morph, then it should work.
