Lead 1: can I use one program slot to control an external synth?

Is it possible to use a single program slot of the original Lead as a midi controller? What I'm envisioning is having slots A-C to switch between the Lead's sounds, and then being able to switch to D to control an external synth (in my case, the Yamaha Reface YC). Is this a possibility? I believe the program slots can be set to different midi channels, but I don't know if this is for sending as well as receiving. Right now my Lead is at my parents house so I can't experiment with it, but I've been unable to find an answer for this online or in the manual.

LOL guess I missed that, thanks! Will have to retrieve my Lead and experiment, hopefully it works as smoothly as I'm thinking it should.
