NS3 split 3 zones synth sounds

Hi guys, please, I am trying to figure out how to avoid using a second device and also minimize switching between programs while playing. Pls could you share your ideas? I think I can achieve this only on NS4 (3 synth layers). Maybe you have some idea.
I want to split keyboard into 3 zones because I am playing in a band a bass part (left hand), then I want to keep pads/strings (hold by pedal) and at the same time sometimes play a rock lead rigs by right hand. When I switch to the different program the background pad sound holding by pedal immediately disappears.
But this configuration requires 3 synth parts playing in the same program.
Do you have any idea? I know I can replace the middle with hammond for example but for worship background? Bass replacement with Hammond is also challenging.
Thank you

In my eyes, this shouldn't happen. 'Seamless transition' should keep the sound (at least for a moment).

You probably know that splitting a NS3 into 3 zones is not a problem, but applying 3 synths is.

Some people re-sample 2 sounds and create a custom sample with 2 distinct sounds applied to different parts of the keyboard. This has nothing to do with the instrument's split functionality - it's just up to your phantasy. It's to be done via Nord Sample Editor. And you will need to balance the volume of both beforehand.

BTW: Nord have been famous for their organ engine; they still are famous for their piano samples. When you need to use your Stage 3 with 3 synth sounds, something must be odd in my opinion. There are other instruments that easily achieve this.

Yes, in fact this should be the case and notes to be kept until/unless you release the sustain meantime (even just a small glitch would stop the previous sound) or you run out of polyphony of Synth section and the notes of the second sound (the lead) take priority.

You can use the External section to control a phone/tablet with dedicated sound application and route it back to the Monitor In to add 2 extra "synth" engines.

Thanks for responses. You are right. On NS3 probably the sample is the only solution. Why I need 3 synth? Left hand Bass, midle are Pads/Strings, right hand Lead solo.
Thanks

Just to pile on Fred's suggestion, I'd move the lead to an iPad controlled by the External MIDI and feed the signal back. Personally I'd feed the iPad audio to a small mixer board, however Fred's suggestion is good: you can connect the iPad to the NS3 Monitor In if you prefer to go that route.
