Grand 2 release date

Hello all -

I'm curious if anyone has reliable recent information about a specific ship date for the Grand 2.

Nord has been advertising "June 2024" for some time now, but I'd intended to purchase from Sweetwater and they are now saying "August 2024". Wondering if that's just the lag-time between Nord rolling them off the assembly line and Sweetwater shipments actually arriving at buyers' doors, or if other online sellers will have them sooner.

If history is any guide, they'll start showing up in European markets a few weeks before their appearance in the US, probably due to transatlantic shipping.

Digitalpiano.com in Denmark claim to have them already in stock (none in a showroom) - I'm not sure about that. Big T. in Germany states a delay of 12-15 weeks. But this is not 'semi-official' occult knowledge - just web shops telling their status.

A guy on Reddit was asking about where to find a replacement key for his Grand 2, so I thought maybe they were already trickling out to customers. I know a few shops have them for demo.

I was disappointed by the seeming delay, since I had made big plans for the summer that depended upon receiving the instrument in June (plans in my mind, no gigs booked yet - I'm not that naive/optimistic).

Wow. This has changed massively over night.

I pulled the trigger at Thomann. Let’s see if it really ships next week. Had the Grand 1 and sold it as I like to try new things.

Now, delivery delay is announced as 12-15 weeks again. Seems to have been a small stock being sold out immediately.
