Nord Electro 4D Factory reset error

I'm trying to factory restore my Electro 4D and i\m getting the following error:
"The content of the backup exceeds the size of the connected instruments Piano Partition".
I just formatted the keyboard, so storage should not be an issue, and the factory backup should also be compatible with the model. Anyone knows how can I fiz it?
When I downloaded the restore file it came with the ".ne4d" extension, but the sound manager required a ".ne4db" extension, wich is weird on its own, but then I read people saying that i can just change the extension, so i did. The sound manager now recognizes the file format, but this error is showing.

Thank you guys!

If I try to download the Factory Restore file for NE4D, I get a ".ne4b" file offered - neither ".ne4d" nor ".ne4db" as file type. I'd try to download again.

Right and the official Factory Backup is the one here https://www.nordkeyboards.com/legacy-pr ... llToTabs=1 (mind Rev A is for 4D 61 and B for SW73 or HP, as they differ in memory size)

Actually I mispelled the extension, the one in the official website is ".ne4b", but the sound manager asks for a ".ne4db", that's the problem. I'm using the right revision for the Electro 4D (RevA), but it shows this error anyways.

Maybe, you could tell a little bit more of your story to make us imagine what might be happening.

I'm relatively new to Nord and haven't played an Electro 4D - but what is this: "I just formatted the keyboard." So, your keyboard doesn't play at all at the moment? Do you still have an OS that boots? Can you load any piano? Did you already have issues with your storage before? I never heard about formatting the keyboard.

And do the OS version and NSM version match? Better not to use an old OS and a newer NSM or the other way round.

In the end (in my eyes), it might be a good idea to ask Nord themselves what to do.

Do you have the latest NE4D OS and are you using the latest Nord Sound Manager?

In the Nord Sound Manager there's an option to FORMAT, you click file>format

That has nothing to do with restoring a backup; try this: rename that factory backup as .zip and unzip it, to see its content (and you can load programs and samples individually from it)

You should verify the storage space, check the factory restore file, try a different USB port, reformat the Piano Partition. Wordle Unlimited
