Hi there,

just got a new Stage 4 but cannot find a list of the factory presets.
any ideas how to get one?

Look into Nord Sound Manager if you can get what you want.

Besides, there are programs and there are presets. Not sure what you mean. Factory programs are nothing but examples to get ideas what you can create with a Stage 4. A Stage 4 is meant to be programmed on its own - not very complicated to do so.

Presets are very useful shortcuts for the different engines and sound layers to put together to a program.

Some users save their factory programs to their computer, erase them and start from scratch. An absolutely possible approach. That may be a reason why Nord won't provide you with a list.

thx for this information but I indeed meant the preset list (for example where to find all piano preset numbers, all organ preset numbers and so on) to realize the programs easier.

I don't have a Stage 4 - but did you check with NSM? File > Export Sound Lists... Are there preset lists included?

Just got my NORD Stage 4 compact Dec2nd. When attached to your computer you most certainly get a full list of the presets in every category using export sound lists. Incredibly useful.

You can always download a list of your current presets and programs in the Sound Manager/File/Export Sound list

I believe those are presets created by programmer J3PO, aka Julian Pollack. He's featured in many of the Nord demos as well.
