...who is not overly-thrilled with the new, blue interface? As nothing else appears to have changed, and there is no new or improved functionality or a cool new GUI - I'm kinda wondering why it happened at all.

Are you talking about the User Forum or about the new NE7 with its blue UI panel?

Joking. If you run an internet forum, you'll learn that after a few years, you'll need to set it up with a new software basis as the current software isn't maintained any more. Which involves security issues e.a. Johannes did it last week, and it looks like one day wasn't enough to get everything sorted out. There are topics left. Like the colour scheme. It'll probably be red again in a few weeks.

And no, there is no NE7 around, and nobody knows about the colour of the panel yet. But to just guess...

personally I'd prefer more of a lime green motif.

There’s actually been a huge change: the site is now mobile friendly. No more terrible Tapatalk necessary. I’ll take that with blue theme any day.

Well, I suppose this Indian Red is better than nothing. Although I preferred the more garish original shade.

And no, Indian Red is *not* a reference to Native Americans, just getting that out there before the screaming starts...
