Nord User Forum

Dear all:

it has been way to long, but finaally we will move to a new forum software and backend, based on the latest phpBB software written from scratch.
Therefore FRIDAY 26th 2024, the forum will be offline starting 8am CET, and we hope to be back up the evening.

Once up, please feel free to post here issues or bugs you encounter.
(We are aware the gallery, download sections, and portal parts are not yet functioning correctly. All data has been saved and backed up, will just require some time to fix the issues (hopefully).).

But if you have issues with the normal forum running, please reply here!

While some new features will be added (e.g., a dark mode, a new mobile friendly design etc.), a few features will be lost in the upgrade, notably:
- The Buy&Sell section ==> in case you want to keep those, please post them exceptionally in a topic here.
- Tapatalk support ==> as it has become increasingly annoying IMHO; and the new version supports a nice mobile mode, we will not reinstall support for that.

I would like to place a pebble on the scales to preserve The Buy&Sell section.

I'll explain.
I've been following for a number of years (and so I understand your view) that the section is not as lively as the posts here or other bazaar sites.

But The Buy&Sell section here provides easy direct contact mainly for owners and fans of Nord instruments.

I wasn't looking for it, but this way I got my hands on one model from the discontinued Nord line of instruments and I'm very happy about it.

Most of all, thank you Johannes and entire team for running NUF, a platform for this unique community.

On 5he buysell, we'll the thing is it's quite complex and the viene system rundls on a very 9ld version of php and long been abandoned by the developer and no similar tool is available at present.
So I can create a new aubforum for offers, that should serve the same purpose.
